THings to know ABOUT the Notary process

Before you schedule your notary appointment:
  • Wait until you meet with the Notary before signing or dating the document
  • Make sure you have all the pages of the document(s) to be notarized, not just the signature page
  • Make sure all document signers have state-acceptable ID
What to expect at your appointment:
  • The Notary will review your document(s) to determine the notarization requirements and if we can complete the notarization.
  • From start to finish, the typical appointment takes about 30 minutes.
After Notarization is completed:
  • Electronic documents - Do not attempt to change or alter electronic documents after the notarization process.
  • Paper documents - Avoid removing the staple from the document. If the staple is removed (whether your documents came stapled or we have stapled a form to the signature page), you risk a third party refusing to accept the document, as it may appear that the document has been tampered with.
