Empowering is the purpose!
Hello, my name is Patricia Watson, MBA and I'm an advocate for empowering people to create win-win solutions for themselves and others. I’m also a fun-loving wife, mother, and supportive friend that enjoys reading, traveling and trying new recipes. Throughout life, I used humor and singing to keep the peace and encouraged laughter. I always loved writing stories, poems and performing speeches. I envisioned myself being a writer, public speaker and a peacemaker. My life experiences fuel my passion to help people make peace through mediation when there’s a need for business dispute resolution, divorce, co-parenting or child custody agreements. I advocate for people that misunderstand physical and emotional abuse as an appropriate expression of love. Through my own life lessons, I empathize and understand that it’s not our fault and we all deserve unconditional love regardless of gender or age. |

How I startedFor 10 years, I worked for non-profits including the YMCA as a Director of Youth Development, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston as a Club Director and advocated for families and youth helping them reach their full potential. I worked an additional 15 years in local government at the Houston Health Department with my last role being Assistant Director helping people be self-sufficient and protect their health. Through mediation, I use my advocacy skills and knowledge of social services resources to collaborate with parties and facilitate mediation agreements to solve problems.

How mediation makes a difference |
Serving as an advocate, I help others face their fears and take action towards embracing the fact that you may find yourself faced with divorce, a landlord tenant dispute or in the middle of a business disagreement. Mediation is often an affordable alternative to going to court. It’s a confidential process that allows you to tell your story and be empowered to decide what you will agree to as a solution.
As a mediator, I strive to be an advocate for creating opportunities for others to be seen, heard and empowered to creatively solve problems and rebuild relationships. Mediation is a tool that when used can help families, business associates and the community peacefully move into the future and continue to collaborate if needed. I look forward to an opportunity to continue serving others that may find themselves at a turning point or on a detour in need of a creative and compassionate mediator. |
